7 months pregnant with covid Pt.1

Quarantine day 1 – lunch.

Update: So, after yesterday’s rollercoaster of events, I am home and self-isolating. Praise God for technology that allows me to exert minimal effort and update you from my phone while lying in bed.

With the suspicion that I have contracted the virus, and continued trouble breathing, pain in my chest, cough, general weakness and inability to speak for longer than a few minutes, and temps being up and down, I am taking my prescribed medications and breathing treatments. I’m also resting and drinking lots of fluids. The definitive test should be back within a few days. Even still I am in good spirits and am trusting God. Also, Nugget is currently moving ALL around and seeing and feeling it is soothing my soul.

Never alone are we. The Ratcliffs are just fine. Joseph is currently singing songs of praise, encouragement, and comfort in the kitchen and he has truly been a godsend, caring for me, feeding me, and praying around the clock. He is also handsome and makes me giggle, so that’s a plus, though too much laughter gives me a coughing spell, these days.

REMEMBER THAT THERE IS LIFE IN THE VALLEY OF THE SHADOW OF DEATH, FOR GOD IS WITH US!

Well, off I go to take a breathing treatment and beat this thing. Prayers for the world and especially those being personally touched by this pandemic. Thank you for every message, prayer, call, and thought. They have truly brought encouragement and smiles during this difficult time.

I would love to take every call and respond to every message, but I don’t have the capacity at the moment. Please know that I see them ALL and we NEED your continued prayers! I am overwhelmed with the love and support that has been shown.

Great, now I’m crying! SO, I’ll leave it there before I work myself into a worse state. We love you and can’t wait to be with you again!
